Islamabad: After the arrest of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday in a corruption case, the Supreme Court said on Thursday to present him (Imran Khan) before us within an hour. Describing the arrest of the former Prime Minister as illegal, the Supreme Court said that the decision on the matter of Khan’s arrest would be taken today itself. The court also said that today is the time to draw a line and set an example for the future.

The court said that this is the time to set an example for the future. He said that he will not allow Pakistan to become a jail. The investigating agency NAB has ruined the country a lot.
Imran Khan was dramatically arrested on Tuesday
On Tuesday, on the orders of Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB), personnel of the paramilitary force entered a room of the Islamabad High Court and arrested Imran Khan. On Wednesday, an anti-corruption court sent him on remand for eight days. The dramatic arrest of Pakistan’s former prime minister Khan from a court complex in a corruption case has sparked widespread violence across the country, leaving at least eight people dead and clashes between protesters and law enforcement agencies. Around 300 other people were injured.
