Traditionally, relations between Russia and India have been warm. Due to good relations, India is getting crude oil from Russia at cheap prices. On the other hand, India has not given any statement against Russia on Ukraine war.
However, for this, many countries of the world including America, Japan, Australia put a lot of pressure on India to oppose Russia in the matter of war with Ukraine.
Amidst all this, Russia’s Deputy PM Denis Manturov arrived in India today on a two-day visit. They will also discuss strategic issues including bilateral trade, science and technology with India here.
