Kishanganj, 05 May. Free human medical camp and veterinary camp program were organized on Friday under the Citizen Welfare Program. On the direction of Commandant, 19th Corps Sashastra Seema Bal Thakurganj, Madhukar Amitabh, a free human medical camp and veterinary camp program was organized under the civic welfare program in Khatkhati, Churli Panchayat.
First Dr. Sumit Kumar Chaurasia, Assistant Commandant (Medical) 19th Corps welcomed Victo Shah, Commandant (Veterinary), Regional Headquarters, Ranidanga with a bouquet.
He said that the 19th Corps of Sashastra Seema Bal, Thakurganj, has been successfully organizing such a civil welfare program every year for the people of the border areas, so that the people of our area can be benefited as much as possible. Veterinarian Dr. Sumit Kumar Chaurasia, Assistant Commandant (Medical) and Dr. Magaram, Assistant Commandant (Medical), 19th Corps rendered their services for human medicine in the program by Victo Shah, Commandant, Regional Headquarters, Ranidanga. Elderly, children, women of all classes came in the program and received medicine according to their own problems and needy animals were brought to the venue for treatment and received their medicine.
While appreciating the programme, the villagers said that the local people have always been benefited from such programs and they want that such welfare programs should continue to be organized by the Sashastra Seema Bal in the future as well. Medicines were distributed to 273 animals in human medicine and 387 in veterinary medicine during the programme.
