Alwar. The Rajasthan team was announced for the women’s hockey tournament to be held in Rourkela, Odisha. In which three players of Alwar confirmed their place. In which Mehak Verma of Alwar was given the command of the team. Apart from this, Payal and Alish Meena also got a place in the team.
These three players were showing strong game in hockey for a long time. Due to her performance, she got a place in the sub-junior women’s hockey team of Rajasthan.
Team leaves for Odisha
Mehak Verma, a resident of Khudanpuri village in Alwar, is a 10th standard student of Ram Gopal Khanna School. Mehak has participated in the state level hockey competition about 11 times. In which his performance was good. Which he has now got the command of Rajasthan team. The Rajasthan team has left for Odisha.
In the hockey competition, Rajasthan team will have matches with Mizoram, Odisha and Kerala.
Many daughters of Khudanpuri village of Alwar have proved their mettle in hockey to different levels earlier also. After which he also got a chance to play in other places. Now Mehak Verma has also joined this list.
